Anointing of the Sick

A Sacrament of Healing

If you or a loved one would like to receive the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, please call the Parish Office at (407) 322-3795. The Church reminds us that there is no need to wait until someone is at the point of death to receive this sacrament. It may also be received again if a person’s condition worsens or if they become seriously ill at another time. When possible, it is encouraged to receive the anointing before surgery when a serious illness is the reason for the procedure.

If you are in the hospital, please ask to speak with the hospital chaplain, who can help arrange a visit from a priest for the anointing.

Eucharistic Ministry to the Sick and Homebound: If you are unable to attend Mass, please contact the parish office. We would be happy to arrange a visit from one of our ministers or a priest so you can receive Holy Communion.
