The Sacrament of Marriage

A Sacrament of Service

The Sacrament of Marriage is a sacred and joyful moment in the lives of a couple and their families. We are here to walk with you through the steps required by our parish and diocese, helping you prepare not only for your wedding day, but for a lifelong covenant rooted in faith.

At your initial meeting with the Pastor, you will receive an overview of the preparation process, including the requirements that both parties will be asked to fulfill.

To begin, please contact the parish office to schedule an appointment with the Pastor and to reserve your wedding date. Weddings may take place at our main church or our historic chapel.

As you begin your wedding preparations, we encourage you to review our Sacrament of Matrimony Guidebook, which answers many common questions and provides helpful guidance.

Convalidation: We also welcome couples who are seeking convalidation. This process allows couples who were married civilly to have their marriage recognized as a Sacrament in the Catholic Church, bringing their union fully into the life of the Church.
